How Much Do I Prequalify For?

How much home you can afford is going to affect your homebuying decision. Even if you have been prequalified you may want to have your information reviewed by Your Lender to determine if there are ways you can be qualified for a better home.

The major factors to determine your prequalified amount will be:

  1. Your Income
  2. Your Monthly Expenses
  3. Your Credit Score

By prequalifying online, Your Lender will review your credit reports free of charge, and ask you a few questions about your monthly expenses and income. In some cases you may need to provide information about a co-signer, or clean up your credit to increase the amount of home for which you qualify.

You may not have to gather your past tax information, paystubs, receipts, or other documentation. Talk with Your Lender about what information he will need to get the ball rolling.
